About Cancer Side Effects Guide

CancerSideEffectsGuide.com is a free, plain-language guide for people facing cancer treatment and the people who care for them. We bring together what you need after an appointment in one place: cliff notes on your drugs, side-effect tips, when to call your care team, help paying, and trusted support groups.

We cover breast, lung, prostate, colorectal and ovarian cancer to start, and we're adding more. Our content is based on FDA drug labels, the National Cancer Institute and other trusted sources, and every page lists its sources.

We're paid for by clearly labeled ads. Advertisers never control what we write. See our advertising policy.

Not medical advice. This page is general information to help you talk with your care team. It can't replace advice from your doctor or nurse. If you have a fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher during treatment, or any symptom that worries you, call your care team now. In an emergency, call 911.
